Our neighborhood church runs a free weekly community dinner every Wednesday. There’s also an after-school homework club and a small food pantry open Saturday mornings. The programs are simple: volunteers cook, tutor, and pack bags. It’s not fancy, but families rely on it. A lot of us met there, sharing casseroles or helping kids with math. Last month they started a walking group for seniors. It all feels like neighbors helping neighbors.
