We recently packed our gear and headed to South Africa for a photography expedition, chasing the golden hour light over dusty savannahs and dramatic coastlines. Between tracking lion prides in Kruger and capturing penguins against boulder-strewn beaches, every sunrise brought a fresh scene. The contrasting landscapes—from stark Karoo deserts to lush Garden Route forests—made for an intense, rewarding trip that taught us to anticipate wildlife movements and weather shifts.
