pressure washing stucco

Pressure washing stucco takes some care because it's a porous, rough surface that can easily chip or gouge if you get too close with the nozzle. I usually start with a wide fan spray and keep the wand moving, holding it about a foot away to let the water do the work without blasting the texture away. It's a satisfying job when the dirt and mildew give way to that clean, slightly sandy finish, but you have to resist the urge to crank up the pressure too high.
